Pastor (Mrs.) Esther Ajayi

President & Chairperson, Board of Trustees

Esther Ajayi is a retired volunteer worker and pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Mission. She has a Bachelor Degree in Education and Master of Public Administration degree. She retired voluntarily from the Nigerian public service as the Director of Personnel Affairs, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria to enable her have more time to pursue the call of God on her life. As part of her preparation to pursue the vision God gave her in the children rescue mission, she enrolled with the American Red Cross Chesapeake Region, Baltimore, Maryland, USA for training in 2016 and got certified in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED and as a Caregiver (CNA).

Esther believes that a life built on the Rock, the Lord Jesus Christ, is a life that will fulfill purpose, if well nurtured. Many children are lost not by their own making but because of the circumstances of life in which they found themselves and in which they have no control. It is therefore a thing of honor and high privilege to have the call of God to go after such children. Some of these children are already lost; some at the risk of getting lost and some of them may just be in need of the basic essentials of life. Esther believes that the mission God has called her, her co-labourers and partners of the Ministry is to help such children navigate the rough and crooked roads of this life, as they grow so that they too will be able to fulfill God’s purpose for their respective lives.
